Prypiat-Stokhid National Nature Park serves as an essential conservation center for Jurinea cyanoides localities in the region. Because natural self-regeneration is currently insufficient to ensure stable population growth, regular monitoring and targeted scientific studies are vital to safeguard the species within the park's sand habitats.

Threats to the Site

The primary threats facing these sites are climate-induced drought and natural forest succession, as sprouting trees and shrubs steadily overgrow open sand areas.

Site Management

Planned project actions include evaluating genetic diversity, monitoring population dynamics, assessing habitat quality and tracking local pollinator activity. Additionally, citizen science campaigns will be launched alongside the preparation of a formal species management plan.
